2 Books to Help You Make Money
We’ve just wrapped up another financial year here in the UK, and for the third year in a row, my income has considerably increased.
I also started reading business books three years ago.
I think not!
Up, up and away!
However, since I started reading, everything from my mindset to my health to my bank balance has just got better and better.
So, I decided to create this post to share with you two books that I have found particularly helpful and impactful in enabling me to increase my income. (..because that’s what everyone seems to want to know!)
Before I introduce those books, I must issue a disclaimer that hard work is required!
You will never become a millionaire simply by reading both of these books.
You must implement what these two books teach you, and you must carry on reading books so that you keep on learning and compounding your knowledge.
The books I’m going to talk about here are not the only ones that you need to read; these are just the start of your reading journey!
So, with that done, let’s get into the books.
In no particular order…
This book has received mixed reviews, but I found it very helpful and I did get a lot out of it.
There’s lots of information in this book that not only helps people to increase their wealth but also shows you how to improve your relationship with money.
One of the most important things that I learned from this book is that it is vital to give yourself a financial education. You need to learn about money, how it works, how it flows, and how it grows. You also need to educate yourself on tax and finance in general.
Since reading this book, I have been working hard to increase my financial education. And I think this is a very good book to start with for those who are wanting to increase their wealth.
I really like this book!
I particularly like the analogy that’s used throughout the book, which is that life is like a highway. You have the sidewalk, the slow lane, and the fast lane. Now obviously, you want to be in the fast lane because that is where people make the most money!
But the book takes you through all three lanes. The book examines what people’s relationship is with money, how they behave on a day-to-day basis, how they structure their lives, what they focus their energy on, and how that ultimately influences what lane they are driving in.
This is a fantastic book! The content covers the mindset around money, the practicality of making money, business advice, and lifestyle advice too.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who is serious about increasing their bank balance.
To wrap things up…
These are two books that I would recommend to anyone who wants to increase their wealth.
But please don’t buy into any of the “get rich quick” stuff that’s out there on the net! There is no silver bullet that will make you into a millionaire overnight, at least not legally and ethically!!
The process takes time, hard work, and much learning.
If you have read any other books on wealth building that you would recommend, please share them with us in the comments box below.
